After gaining community feedback this past August, the Anzac Church Memorial design has been finalized.

The simplistic design is centered around the original church bell with details including yellow- and orange-colored slates to represent stained-glass windows, accessible seating, and interpretive panels featuring historical images. The design is meant to provide a gathering space for the community to reflect, relax, and rest. The placement of the memorial represents where the church once stood.

Feedback has been summarized in the What We Heard Report including design priorities. Themes include seating, accessibility, simplistic design, vandalism, and fiscal responsibility.

Construction is expected to start Spring 2024. Subscribe to this page for project updates.
