Let's connect about community policing! Wood Buffalo RCMP is committed to preserving the peace, upholding the law, and providing quality service in partnership with the communities it serves. The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo (RMWB) has partnered with the RCMP to create informative virtual and in-person events to connect with the residents throughout the region.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on local safety concerns by taking the Annual Policing Priorities Survey!
Wood Buffalo RCMP set policing priorities each year based on feedback received from residents. These priorities ensure that, in addition to responding to calls for service, officers focus on policing issues that are in line with local concerns.
A What We Heard Report will be available in the coming days as a summary of what participants in the engagement had to say. There will also be an opportunity to discuss the new priorities at a public meeting later this Spring. Follow the project page and receive updates as this project moves forward.

Ask a Cop a Question
Students in grades seven and eight submitted hundreds of questions to Wood Buffalo RCMP throughout the Ask a Cop a Question campaign that ran from Jan. 9-Feb. 26 2023. Based on participation, a school influencer was chosen to co-host the panel discussion at their school and was awarded a pizza party for their class.
We're excited to share the recorded sessions from participating schools below.
