Let's connect about community policing! The Wood Buffalo RCMP is committed to preserving the peace, upholding the law, and providing quality service in partnership with the communities it serves. The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo (RMWB) has partnered with the RCMP to create informative virtual and online events with the purpose of connecting with the residents of our region. All upcoming events are detailed below.

What do you want to ask a cop? Now is your chance! Residents from all rural communities are invited to ask questions that matter to them this Spring.

Building positive relationships while making communication accessible is important to the Wood Buffalo RCMP.

The questions collected throughout engagement will be answered through a community virtual panel discussion for each rural community. Stay tuned for upcoming dates!


Become a Community Influencer

Are you a rural resident in grade seven or eight and passionate about your community? We are seeking youth to become community ambassadors in their own backyards. Spreading the word and asking questions from friends, and neighbors would be your number one priority. The chosen influencer for each community will co-host a live virtual panel discussion in their community and win a pizza party from Wood Buffalo RCMP.

    Ask a cop your question below! Wood Buffalo RCMP look forward to reading and responding to your question during LIVE virtual panel discussions in participating rural communities, Spring 2022. Urban residents will have an opportunity to participate Fall 2022.

    If you’re in grade seven or eight and want to enter for your chance to become a Community Influencer – add your name and school name after asking your question! The more people you can get to submit a question, the closer you get to becoming an ambassador for your community. The chosen Influencer will co-host the live virtual panel discussion in their community, and win a prize from Wood Buffalo RCMP.
