    Temporary Water Service Notice

Consun Contracting Ltd., will be upgrading the underground watermains in your neighbourhood as a part of the Municipality's Urban Infrastructure Rehabilitation Program.

Starting Tuesday, May 19, 2020, businesses in the construction zone will be placed on a temporary water service.

    Access to your building/property

Consun Contracting Ltd. will need access to the main water shut-off valve in your building to shut off the water and connect the temporary water service. This valve must remain off until the construction of the watermains is completed. Please call the contractor to schedule and appointment to complete the hook up of the temporary service.

Water Treatment Systems and Lawn Sprinkler Systems

During the course of the construction, an adapter will be installed, do not turn off this valve as this will shut off the water supply to your building. It is recommended that you disconnect any water treatment systems (i.e. softeners or filters), water-cooled air conditioners or similar plumbing fixtures prior to hookup. Automatic lawn sprinkler systems may also be affected therefore you may need to water your lawn manually.
