Update March 2023

At the March 28 Council meeting, Administration provided a revised Option 1 for Phase 2 for the Reflections Lookout Park from a previous motion from the February 14, 2023 Council Meeting.

Council passed the following motion:

THAT Administration proceed with revised alternate option 1, with $855,000 being allocated from the Capital Infrastructure Reserve for the inclusion of the parking lot and asphalt trail to playground.

Update February 2023

At the February 14, 2023 Council meeting, Administration requested further funding due to increased industry and material costs for the Reflections Lookout budget. The following motion passed,

"THAT the Reflections Lookout Budget Amendment be referred to Administration to complete further costing on an Alternative Option 1 that includes hard or accessible surfacing on the trail that leads to the play structure and on the gravel trail that leads to the remaining hard surfacing.".
