- How do I provide input?
Your input can be submitted using the online options that are relevant to each of the projects that are currently open for consultation.
In the tools section, at the bottom of the main project description section on each project page, there is a bar with tabs labeled according to the method of engagement; E.g. Title of a survey, Ideas, Forums, etc. Click on the tabs to view the different opportunities. Within each activity there will be a button to add comments, submit survey, etc. Follow instructions on the individual engagement opportunities as each will have a unique question or feedback request.
Sometimes we need to track the input to ensure an accurate representation of the feedback is received or a page is created for a specific group to collaborate. In these cases, you need to be signed in to provide input.
For the informational section on the right side of the page (bottom, on mobile devices), you can click on "See more" or the links to view documents, photos, videos, etc. You can click on folders to expand the contents.
- Why is the RMWB using an online public engagement platform?
Public engagement usually involves attending an open house, public meeting or providing a letter to Council. Using an online public engagement platform is in an effort made by the RMWB to reach more residents and to give you an opportunity to provide input on projects or to bring ideas forward at your convenience.
- It is a great way to keep up-to-date and provide input.
- View comments and input that other residents are providing and respond with your own views.
- An opportunity to participate without having to attend a public engagement session.
- It is very convenient and available 24/7 for when you get a moment.
- Why do I need to sign up to this site to provide input?
We ask you to sign up for the online platform because;
- It helps to minimize the chance of the consultation being manipulated by someone who leaves many comments in support of a position.
- It allows us to update you if there are changes about the project or other engagement opportunities.
- Can I use this site anonymously?
