The Draper Voluntary Buyout Program is now open!

[Update August 17, 2023]

On July 11, 2023, Council approved the Voluntary Buyout Program for eligible properties in Draper. The program is open and important information has been mailed and emailed to eligible property owners.

On Tuesday, August 15, 2023, in a Special Council Meeting, the following motion was considered:

  • THAT up to $2,500 for each eligible Draper property be made available to reimburse closing costs as part of the approved Council voluntary buyout program; and
  • THAT Administration provide an information update on costs related to the voluntary buyout program to Council within 60 days of the program closing date.

The motion was not passed by Council during the Special Council Meeting and therefore all closing costs as part of the Draper Voluntary Buyout Program will be the responsibility of the property owner. This does not change the existing program or the current support available through the program.
