What guides the OHV Pilot Project

Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) use in the region is regulated by municipal bylaws. These bylaws are in place to outline designated staging areas, enhance safety for both OHV users and residents, and highlight the responsibilities of OHV users.

The OHV pilot project plan proposes adding a new bylaw that would allow OHV use (not including snowmobiles) on Abasand roads to provide direct routes to the Abasand staging area.

You can read more about this new bylaw here and learn more about OHV use in the region, by visiting rmwb.ca/ohv.
